UltimateGaN on the ISPSD2020 conference

UltimateGaN participated in the online exhibition of the ISPSD2020 conference taking place on 13-18 September 2020.

ISPSD (International Symposium on Power Semiconductor Devices and ICs) is an annual conference established in 1988 by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) on a wide range of power technologies. Host to over 500 experts from across the world, ISPSD is the premier forum for technical discussions in all areas of power semiconductor devices and power integrated circuits, recently focusing on gallium nitride and silicon carbide devices. The conferences are held in Asia, North America, and Europe on a rotating basis.

After careful consideration of the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ISPSD2020 organizers decided to hold the 32nd ISPSD as a fully virtual conference. The new conference format combined daily live streams, exhibitions, and Q&A sessions during short and manageable time slots to facilitate real-time exchange with and within the international expert audience.

According to the ISPSD 2020 team, 'The conference was an intense week of knowledge exchange at the forefront of modern power semiconductor device research and development with close to 600 registered participants.'

UltimateGaN was presented by its coordinator Herbert Pairitsch from Infineon Austria.
