Lear main tasks will be within WP6 work package, together with some supportive activities in WP5 package:

WP5: GaN Reliability and Defect Research: WP5 focuses on the analysis of reliability-limiting mechanisms in advanced GaN devices. LEAR will contribute to this analysis by evaluating the reliability vs. performance of these components in a real application, the On-Board Charger used in PHEVs and EVs

WP6: GaN RF and Power Applications: The objective of this work package is to evaluate and quantify the benefits of the new developed devices in real RF and power applications. LEAR main task is the development of an On-Board Charger based on GaN devices for plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle (PHEV/EV).
